Car Review

I purchased a car in April 2015 only to find out I needed a new motor. I was never able to Enjoy my car No more than two days. I was told several lies from different people at car lot, to make a long story short don't deal with clay Cooley. I was out of $1000 and No car. Clay Cooley need to get better or will go out of business.

Clay Cooley Service Center Review

Sitting here in the waiting room right now getting a recall repair taken care of and have had to listen to the front girl use the "F" word 5 times as she complains to other employees about her lousy paycheck... No wonder the dealership is in financial difficulty!!!

My car has been in this shop since October 17, 2014. They were to replace the cluster. 10/23 I rcv'd a call from someone in repair, plus a recording that said my car was ready. I brought my daughter to pay for it, which was $2381.50. We went out to the car & I noticed it had not been inspected as they had promised. Kevin & Michael both came out and said the cluster had not even come in yet. So, the car was not ready. I had already turned in the rent car, so I had to get another one. Both Kevin & Michael told me I had to pay for the rent car, that it wasn't their fault the cluster had not come in. By the way, they use their own cars, not Enterprise. Their cars have their logo on the rear window, which means I've been advertising for them and is embarrassing. I talked to the girl who is over the rent cars and determined that I did not have to pay for the rent car. I have been reimbursed for the money I payed. 10/28, I again got a recording that said the car was ready. I called Kevin, Michael and Lynal to make sure this was correct. Got no answer from any of them. I called Michael again around 2pm and he said that was not true, the part still had not come in. It is now 12/13/2014 & still waiting on my car. Michael and Kevin don't want to talk to me, so Consumer Affairs is keeping me up to date. They have their money, so I guess they're not concerned about weather the car gets repaired or not. I know it is sitting out in the elements and I don't appreciate that. The rent cars are a different story. I get them dirty and they don't check to make sure everything is in working order. I'm on my fourth car. 1st one got side swiped at a football game. (not their fault). the 2nd one had a gas peddle that stuck. They sold the 3rd one. Customer service is non-existent & rudeness takes it's place. My next step is the Attorney General.

I think Kevin has been gone since end of October or first part of November. The last time I was in getting my car serviced they said he moved to Austin.

He was always super helpful with any issues I have had.

I am surprised you had a bad experience with him. Best wishes and hope you get your car back soon.

Yes, stay away from Cooley Chevrolet in Irving the worst place to go for shopping a car i spent 5 hours there just for nothing they want sell you what they want not what you want they are liars.

Clay Cooley Austin, TX - Sales staff are smarmy sleezeballs, service dept. incompetent

I recently bought a 2015 Nissan Altima from Clay Cooley Austin. It was absolutely the worst car buying experience I have ever had, complete with zombie salesmen literally following our car into the parking lot and practically opening our doors for us, "options" that were not optional, and overcharging for stuff I never even wanted.

I got up to leave 3 times I was so unimpressed, but my wife was sick of car shopping and just wanted to close the deal - which easily took 3+ hours. We were "sold" glass etching - even though I told them 3 times I didn't want it, charged on two different lines of the invoice for it , and it was never even applied to our glass! To be fair I got a refund for the whole thing - but not without a lot of pushing. I just spent the last hour trying to get a human being on the phone from their service department.

I should have saw that coming since the only way to make an appointment was online - all calls went unanswered. Trying to get the status of my recall service I got bounced from one answering machine to another, most of which could not record a message since they were full! They were to have call ME when it was done.

Never got the call. Not surprised.

I have been dealing with Clay Cooley since June 2014, there has been only one employee that has been consistent and helpful from the beginning and that person is Bobby Brown. He has always ensured I received the best quality service. For example this morning I returned a generated phone call for service reminder. I spoke with Robert ( service department) didn't get his last name. But this guy didn't have any patience with me on the phone. He talked extra fast and I felt like " here I go again with this unprofessional employee who doesn't have time to talk to me" . i know you guys have a lot of customers but you could please be customer oriented

Awful people at Clay Cooley Nissan in Dallas. This company removed my license plates from my car that I punched from them in 2013 because I was going to trade to a Sentra from a Versa.

When I get there the sales men Ike and Elvis tell me I have to get an altima because of rebates which made my payment too much, which I shared with them. After a stressful debate I go with the altima . I did the customer survey and did not score them a 10 because I did not receive a 10 experience. I get a call from Elvis trying to scold me because I did not rate them a 10.

Two weeks later a get a call from them wanting me to return the altima because they decided againt the deal. I went back to get my versa and they had removed my plates and said they would replace them.

It is now 3 months later and they told me oh that was our mistake for removing your plates but it is on you yo replace them we are not going to do it even though we are the ones the took them and we don't know where they are. They are a horrible business and I will make sure it goes public about the way they treat people.

These people are scammers fix up yo paperwork and say your approved jus to take your money and down payment and then get declined by finance company just so they can try to keep your money. Please do not and I mean do not drive off the car lot until you have had a welcome call from the finance company that states that your approved.

me and my husband and my two kids when in to buy a vehicle when not given the right options that we like we walked away they came to our vehicle told us our other options that they could do for us went two hours to drive home to get our trade in vehicle only to turn around and to get there for them to tell us if they can no longer do the arrange it because we don't provide the proper paperwork that they didn't even tell us that we needed the worst customer service ever seen so we spent our entire Saturday with two kids in a car dealership in the car and still walk away with nothing I would never buy a vehicle from them

I am seeing a therapist now after dealing with them. People do not deserve being treated that way, but it's common practice with them.

GPS nightmare when payment has been made on time!!!

Numerous times my GPS alarm goes off when payment isn't late or due!! Very frustrating when I get in my car to go to work BEFORE dealership is open to call and GPS goes off!!!!

It has gone off 1 day before payment due and 1 day after payment made!! I'm PISSED and very frustrated!!! This is no way to live! I'm missing time and wages at work when I'm stuck at home waiting for the dealership to open to take my call to reset the *** thing!!

Anyone have any ideas on how to get rid of this problem? It's become apparant to me that Clay Cooley doesn't care about taking care of their customers, OBVIOUSLY!

Ive recently purchased a used vehicle. It has a gps which hasent been an issue.

My issue is the vehicle itself. Bought gorgeouse dodge caravan for my large family. Fully loaded, leather seats, all the bells and whistles. The first month I had the vehicle, I drove it for a total of one week.

The rest of the time the car kept breaking down. And their"mechanics" what a joke!! My car is now fixed onky bc I had to threaten to just give it back. Also the lady at the reception desk who answers phones.....

her jobs not that hard. They have a back line for us customers that complain, where ur out on hold and never answered. Their vehicles are ***. ***!!!

Mechanics are a JOKE and customer service w reception is MADENING!!!! Never will I use them and never will I send someone there

They need to automatically reset it one payment is made. I'm so over this dealership and wish I NEVER purchased from them.
